Grass Roots Theatre Company (OCR Level 2 Performing Arts)

In year one you will obtain an OCR Level 2 in Performing Arts and during your time with the company you will experience high quality training in Dance, Drama, Theatre Production and Musical Theatre from a highly skilled Performing Arts lecturing team. - You will be given many opportunities to perform at our own purpose built performance venue Nidum Arts Centre and your work could lead you to a Level 3 Qualification in Performing Arts, Dance or Production Arts.

Career Prospects

Successful completion of the course (at Merit or above) can lead to a Level 3 qualification in Performing Arts, Dance or Production Arts.

Entry Requirements

2 GCSEs at grade C or above - Learners will be selected by interview and judged on their interest and experience in the Performing Arts.

Course Costs

Plain black dance uniform / Black jazz shoes / Ballet shoes - There will be workshops and visits throughout the year which may incur a small fee.- Grass Roots Theatre Company t-shirts and hoodies are also available to purchase.
