Pantomime Success

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was a huge hit with audiences of all ages throughout this year’s ‘panto’ season and its direction, by NPTC Group’s Musical Theatre lecturer Anthony Argyle was vibrant, colourful and full of fun for all the family.

The actors, singers and dancers responsible for the production at Pontardawe Arts Centre, are collectively known as Ovation Musical Theatre Company, which has built an excellent reputation for high quality productions over the past decade.  Anthony Argyle also took on one of the show’s most memorable characters, playing the role of the Pantomime Dame, and once again confirming that he has talents far beyond the classroom.

Rhian Lloyd, former Musical Theatre lecturer at NPTC Group for over 25 years led the musical direction of the production and created a highly professional experience for all who watched the show.

Ovation now rehearses at the Nidum Arts Centre and continues to add something special to the college, as planning begins for next year’s production of Cinderella.
