Nutcracking Success
The Nutcracker Craig Coombs, Subject Leader for Dance at NPTC Group led the dance students in a production of The Nutcracker this week, which can only be described as a visual and beautiful spectacle, enjoyed by all who saw it.
Neath's Community Christmas
Tonight the student performers of Scrooge and The Nutcracker played a key part in Neath Community Christmas, spreading festive joy (and lots of flyers) to the general public. The students were welcomed into the community, promoting both productions in the hope of making Christmas all the more magical for the local community.

This month the dance students from Neath campus went to London to learn more about higher education dance courses. The dance department has a reputation for excellent student progression into some of the country’s top university and conservatoire courses and this year’s intake promises to follow in the footsteps of students like Rhian Lewis (Laban), Kayleigh Prescott (Roehampton), Anton Hinchliffe (Northern School of Contemporary Dance), Daniel Urch (Arts Educational Schools London) and Robyn Stack (London Studio Centre).

Dance students Daniella Powell and Mia Christopher have both won places on the exclusive NYDW training programme.
Summer School Success for Dance Students
This summer two of NPTC Group’s dance students will be training alongside the National Dance Company of Wales as part of the youth dance summer school programme. This invaluable experience promises to be an excellent opportunity for AS Level Dance students Olivia Barry and Daniella Powell, where they will be given the chance to learn new dance skills alongside the country’s top dance artists and choreographers.
LIFT Dance Company Perform at Taliesin Arts Centre
On Friday 29th May, 7.30pm LIFT will be performing at the Taliesin Arts Centre so make sure you get your tickets now!
